Who We Are


We are people with learning disabilities and proffessionals who are trying to make life better for all people with a learning disability, their families and carers in Derby City.

The board is supported by people from Health Social services Advocacy Carers and others who have an interest in making good changes to services and the lives of people in Derby City.

 We have been elected to the board and we are called Ambassadors. 

 My name is Albino Anzelmo. I live in Chaddesden.

I am an Ambassador for the Derby City Learning Disability Partnership Board.

 My name is Adam Chilcott. I live in Normanton.

I am an Ambassador for the Derby City Learning Disability Partnership Board.

My name is Debra Morley. I live in Spondon.

I am an Ambassador for the Derby City Learning Disability Partnership Board.

My Name is Wendy Padley and i live in Derby.

I am an Ambassador for people with learning disabilities and go to the Learning Disability partnership Board.
Esther

My name is Esther Waters. I live in Breadsall with my family. I would like to live in my own flat, but can’t find one that is suitable.

I am an Ambassador for the Derby City Learning Disability Partnership Board.

I have lots of good ideas about things that we can do to make things better.

I would like to open a drop in centre where we could sell healthy food. People could come for a chat and to meet their friends. We could also have Advocacy Services and Health Services visiting to give advice.
